After spending a month in S.E. Asia , we are back in Rome in time for the holidays and to wish you and your family “Happy Holidays and an Amazing 2013!”
Rome is evidently ready for the holidays and although the hot and humid weather in S.E. Asia doesn’t foster a feel of the holidays, the festive decorations sure made up for that.
I know I owe you more than a few posts especially on our travels in Asia and as I won’t be making tortellini this year for Christmas, I hope to use this time to catch up on writing them up.
On that subject, I apologize for the lack of posting consistently the last quarter of this year and I assure you that in 2013, posts will be more regular. It has been a crazy, fun and exciting 2012 and I’m looking forward to even more excitement in 2013.
What are your plans for the holidays?
We will be having our usual Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day lunch with the possibility again this year of having lunch with family in Naples on Santa Stefano. Fortunately, I won’t be doing much cooking this year but am responsible for making cookies for Santa. That’s what I will be up to this weekend, baking some chocolate chocolate chip cookies with Christmas songs playing in the background!
Whatever your plans are for the holidays, here’s wishing you much joy and happiness during this festive period!!
