Volcanic cloud approaching Italy

As most airports in Europe have been shut down as a result of the volcanic clouds from Iceland, the Northern airports in Italy may also be forced to do so this weekend.  According to latest reports, this has already happened as the airspace in Northern Italy will be closed from 6am to 8pm today.  Examples of the airports that will be affected are Malpensa, Linate, Bergamo, Venezia,  and Bologna.  [Read more…]
